As the dedicated run lead of the Sparks Street Run Club, Jordan was far more than an organizer — he was the heart and spirit of the group. He had a remarkable ability to bring people together, creating a space where runners of all levels felt welcomed, supported, and inspired. Whether it was someone’s very first run or part of a seasoned routine, Jordan made every individual feel seen and valued. His presence turned simple runs into meaningful connections.
Originally from Prince George, British Columbia, Jordan carried with him a sense of community that he shared effortlessly with others. He built friendships that went beyond the pavement, fostering bonds that will endure long after his passing. His kindness, positivity, and genuine love for people left an unforgettable mark on everyone he encountered.
Jordan was a cherished son to his mother, Marlene, and a beloved brother to Ryan Malchow and Garrett Thoms. The love he had for his family was evident, and the strength of those relationships shaped the incredible person so many came to admire. To his family, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences.
