After earning his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1992, where he was inducted into the prestigious Order of the Wig and Robe for academic excellence, he began his career as a state prosecutor. In that role, he handled complex cases involving DUI, felony DUI, reckless homicide, and other serious offenses—gaining invaluable courtroom experience and insight.
In 1995, Steve established his own law practice in Greenville, focusing on defending individuals accused of DUI and driving-related offenses. Over the years, he earned a reputation as a knowledgeable, skilled, and determined advocate. His deep understanding of South Carolina’s DUI and implied consent laws made him a trusted figure among clients and colleagues alike.
Beyond the courtroom, Steve was passionate about education and mentorship.
